8/4 Kenosha Comets

This was so much fun. While I did not accomplish my goal of making the USA Women’s National Baseball Team, I was able to travel to Kenosha and play with the Kenosha Comets against the USWNT (and some of my close friends). I threw out a runner stealing and also pitched a scoreless inning, picking up a strikeout. The best part was the fact that it was the 80th anniversary of the AAGBPL, and many former players and family members were on hand for the reunion. Spending time with the ladies on whom “A League of Their Own” was based has made me appreciative for them and their sacrifices. They are such amazing people and I can’t wait to see them in Sarasota in November! For more information, or to donate to the league, click here.

8/2 NH Thunder Lotti

Defensive highlights from NE’s Finest, playing SS and 3B! Fun to get to another spot on the field and show what I can do.

7/29 NH Thunder Lotti

Had a great weekend at NE’s Finest with the Thunder crew! We played extremely well and I had the chance to play the left side of the infield as well as crush a homer!

7/24 NH Lightning

Such a fun day on the field! The team played so hard and it resulted in a championship! I was able to catch all twenty innings of Sunday’s games, and also hit a couple of home runs along the way.

7/20 UVA Softball Camp

Loved having the opportunity to work with Coach Joanna Hardin and Bella Norton at UVA this week! They have an amazing culture and their enthusiasm shines through.

7/13 USA Baseball

It is such an honor to even compete for a spot to play For Glory with the USA Women’s National Team! In the Open, I was 4-for-5 with two doubles, five RBI, and an .889 OBP. During the Training Camp, I had two solid outings on the mound and an 0.00 ERA – plus, I learned even more about the craft of pitching. I am eager to take the feedback I was given to improve even more for next year’s opportunity.

7/6 3 CS vs. Laconia

I threw out three runners attempting to steal as well as a fourth attempting to take third on a throw home. Plus, I drove in a run with an RBI single. Fun day at the field!

7/1 Softball and baseball in the same day

Haven’t done this in a little bit. Played with the Maine Thunder during the day and then came home to play for Post 54! Did smack a nice line drive to second in the baseball game (not pictured) without BP, shifting from a -10 to a -3.

6/25 MLB Elite Development Invitational

So fortunate to receive coaching and mentoring from players like Kelsie Whitmore and coaches like Veronica Alvarez. Experiences like this motivate me every day and I hope to be the one motivating others in the future.

6/20 Play at the plate vs. Sweeney Post

Unless you’re an owl, your head shouldn’t move like this…

6/19 Underwood Game

So much fun to play with the best juniors in NH at the Underwood Game!

5/27 9-0 Win over Nashua North on Senior Night

I had the opportunity to catch my good friend Boden Smith as he struck out the side to close out Senior Night. I am going to miss this group a lot!

5/25 7-0 Win over Trinity

Got to catch Charlie Cariello as he extended his scoreless streak to 19 innings. Here’s video of a caught stealing from the game. I also threw a runner out on an attempted squeeze play!

5/15 16-4 Win over Alvirne

We beat Alvirne 16-4. Patrick Foulis looked great on the mound and we hit four homers today. Video was not working due to poor cell service, however. This makes it five wins in a row!

Clinic at Stonehill College, 5/14/23

Had a lot of fun at Stonehill yesterday for their clinic! Thanks to Coach Ali and her staff for the opportunity! Here are a couple of swings as well as some long tosses (I am third from the left on the near side).

1-0 2-Hit Shutout vs. Timberlane, 5/10/2023

We beat Timberlane 1-0 behind a two-hit shutout from Charlie Cariello. He struck out seven. I think the last time I caught him (in a Legion Post 54 game last summer) he threw a no-hitter! Here’s a block/recover for one of those strikeouts!

8-3 No-Hitter vs. Bangor, 5/6/2023

Aiden O’Connell struck out 17 in a no-hitter victory over Bangor, ME. We got to play in the old ballpark in Sanford, ME, which was amazing! I had the privilege of catching him in the win. Here is the last inning.

7-6 Win vs. Merrimack, 5/4/2023

Patrick Foulis pitched seven great innings and Henry DuBois came in for the eighth inning to nail things down. We beat a tenacious Merrimack team, 7-6.

7-1 Win vs. Salem, 5/1/2023

We got ahead early and beat Salem, 7-1. Aiden O’Connell was on the mound for us and struck out 10 in four innings, and Jack Hinton and Steele Lambert closed it out. Here’s a shot from later in the game when I threw someone out attempting to take second.

4/27/2023 – Hitting Softballs

Sometimes it’s fun just to go and hit softballs. Here is some video from the evening of April 27.

5-4 Loss vs. Portsmouth, 4/26/2023

We lost a tough decision to a very good Portsmouth team, 5-4. We scored three in the bottom of the sixth before giving up two in the top of the seventh. Here is the top of the third with Aiden O’Connell on the mound. I do not know if I have ever caught an immaculate inning before. (The first transition is due to the GameChanger count being slightly delayed. It cut off the at bat.) There is also video of a block and throw down to first to retire the runner on strike three (bottom video).

Home Opener vs. Concord, 4/14/2023

I caught Henry DuBois as he closed out the game for us. Here is the top of the 7th of our 9-7 win over a very tough Concord team.

at Pinkerton, 4/12/2023

Tough one as we dropped an extra-inning decision to defending champs Pinkerton, 4-3.

Season Opener at Keene, 4/10/2023

I had the opportunity to catch Northwestern commit Aiden O’Connell as he struck out 12 in four innings in a 13-2 win.
